Step-by-Step Instructions

On this page, you will see a list of the products you added in the "General" step. You must provide the packaging details for each one.

Part 1: Entering Packaging Details for Each Product

Important: The dimensions you enter must be for the final, packed shipping box, not the product itself. This information is used to calculate volumetric weight for courier charges.
  1. For the first product in the list, fill in the following fields:
    • Items per box*: Enter the number of units that will be packed in a single shipping box. For most items sold individually, this will be "1". This must be a numeric value.
    • Packaging Dimensions*:
      • Select the measurement unit from the dropdown (e.g., cm or inch).
      • Enter the final package's Length, Width, and Height in the corresponding fields.
  2. Repeat this process for every product listed on the page. Each product has its own set of fields for packaging information.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. Why is accurate packaging information so important?

Shipping carriers use package dimensions and weight to calculate shipping costs. Providing accurate data ensures that courier charges are calculated correctly, preventing any shipping fee discrepancies that could affect your profit margins or customer pricing.

2. Can I enter the same dimensions for all products at once?

No, you must enter the packaging dimensions for each product individually in its respective row. This ensures accuracy, as different products, even in the same category, may have different packaging sizes.

3. What does "Items per box" refer to?

"Items per box" refers to the quantity of a single product SKU that is packaged into one shippable box. If you sell single items to customers, this value should be "1". If you sell a product as a pack of two, you would enter "2".
