Step-by-Step Instructions
The process involves downloading a template with your current product data, editing it, and then uploading the modified file.
Part 1: Download the Product Update Template
From your seller dashboard, navigate to the main menu and click Products > Update Products via File.
On the "Download template" page, you will find several data fields you can update. Check the boxes for Packaging Info and Images.
Click the Download the data file to update button. An Excel file containing your current product information for these fields will be downloaded to your computer.
Part 2: Edit the Downloaded Excel File
1. Updating Packaging Information
Open the downloaded Excel file.
Locate the columns for packaging details: Minimum Items in a box, Maximum Items in a box, Box Length, Box Width, and Box Height.
Update these values as needed for each product. Ensure the dimensions are for the final, packed product to ensure accurate shipping calculations.
2. Updating Product Images
Find the columns labeled Image 1, Image 2, etc.
In these cells, you must paste the public URL (link) of the new image you want to use. You can get these links from image hosting services like Google Drive or Dropbox.
After entering all your updates, save the Excel file.
Important: You must provide a direct public link to the image file (e.g., ending in .jpg or .png). Do not paste the image itself into the Excel cell. Also, do not modify the Product ID or Vendor Code columns.
Part 3: Upload the Updated File
Return to the "Update Products via File" page on your Fyaril dashboard and click Next.
On the "Upload and Update" screen, click Choose File and select the Excel file you just saved.
Click the Upload Data File button.
The system will process the file and apply the changes. You will see a success notification, and your products will be updated. You can verify the new packaging information by navigating to Products > Update Listed Products and inspecting an updated product.
